We are delighted to announce that our 2022 symposium, Innovations in Human Factors and Ergonomics, will take place at the University of the Sunshine Coast on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th September 2022. This includes a one-day research symposium and a day of workshops providing training and practical guidance in state-of-the-art Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) methods.
Attendees to the first day will see presentations from leading international and national experts on the latest innovations in HFE in areas such as healthcare, transport safety, workplace safety, defence, and land use planning and urban design. A specific focus will be on new innovations in HFE and how these can be translated in practice to optimise health, wellbeing, and performance.
A day of expert workshops will follow the research symposium. These will provide expert guidance, training and resources for attendees in a range of core HFE and Safety Science methods, including Cognitive Work Analysis, AcciMap, Causal Loop Diagrams, and the Networked Hazard Analysis and Risk Management System (Net-HARMS). An introductory workshop on Human Factors and Ergonomics will also be provided along with a workshop on contemporary issues in Human Factors and Ergonomics.
The full program will be released shortly. We look forward to seeing you at our 2022 symposium!
