Centre researchers recently completed our pioneering Australian Research Council Linkage project involving the application of systems Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) methods to help understand and prevent the trading of illicit goods in darknet markets. The project was conducted in partnership with the University of Queensland, the University of Southampton, the Department of Home Affairs, Queensland Police Department, and AUSTRAC and produced a number of insights into behaviour in darknet markets and potential disruption strategies.
You can find a summary of the research project and its main findings here.
