We are currently advertising for a research fellow position within our sport and outdoor recreation theme at the Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems. The successful candidate will work across a range of projects within the Sports and Outdoor Education Theme, with the primary focus being our recently funded Australian Research Council Linkage Project, “From data to action: a new process for developing injury countermeasures”.
This project is a follow on to our UPLOADS project and requires extensive industry engagement in order to develop, implement, and test a process for translating incident reporting system outputs into appropriate and effective injury countermeasures in the led outdoor activity sector.
In addition, the successful candidate will work on a range of projects that apply human factors and sociotechnical systems theory and methods to optimise safety and efficiency within sporting and outdoor education contexts.
For me details on the position go the USC website. Alternatively you can contact Natassia Goode or Paul Salmon for more information.
